Evening Highlights

• Executive Director & Founder, Dave Wiedis, opened the program by describing the pressures ministry leaders are encountering in our current cultural climate and why ServingLeaders is more crucial than ever before for the health and longevity of the local church. 

• Clinical Director, Jon Sovocool, spoke about the pressures of struggling marriages on ministry and the pressures of ministry on marriage, and how ServingLeaders provides effective marriage counseling and Created for Connection workshops to give hurting couples renewed hope. 

• Ministry Director, Tucker Else, described the destructive impact of broken relationships on ministry teams and how ServingLeaders provides mediation, counsel, and safe interventions to help teams, families, and church leaders heal.

• Dave then outlined our next steps for growth, including establishing new Ministry Hubs to reach more leaders with pastoral care, critical resources, and a fresh experience of the Gospel.

• Pastor Mark Stockeland, CEO of Haiti Bible Mission, shared about how he almost gave up on both his family and his ministry and how your partnership with ServingLeaders enabled our team to meet him in his darkest season and bring him to full restoration.  

• An exhibit highlight for the evening was that Dave’s wife, Miho Kahn, created two beautiful abstract paintings on relationships in real time. (Stay tuned for the final pieces and an opportunity to bid on them!)
