Ministry Leader Gathering (West Chester): Cultivating Relational Depth & Navigating Conflict

  • Iron Works Church 312 W Union St, West Union Street West Chester, PA, 19382 United States (map)

[THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED AND WILL BE RESCHEDULED SOON]

ServingLeaders is excited to host a collaborative workshop for ministry leaders in West Chester covering the topic of Cultivating Relational Depth & Navigating Conflict in Today's Ministry Context.

We will be addressing some of the key elements and pitfalls of developing deep relationships in ministry leadership, while navigating inevitable conflict. In an us-vs-them, highly individualized, rage normalized, polarized culture, we face the challenge of shallow relationships and competing alliances. Although healthy and deep relationships have seemingly grown more challenging, we believe that ministry leaders have great opportunities for proclaiming and displaying the gospel through modeling emotional health in relationships. The way we respond and walk through conflict is one of the key areas that we can display this health and develop thick community and an attractive gospel culture.

This collaborative gathering is time to process the state of our own relationships and the relational realities that challenge our ministries and our leadership teams. Our experience has shown that many ministry leaders would list conflict as one of the top sources of burnout and discouragement. So, how can we navigate this cultural moment, in a counter cultural and compelling way, that bears fruit in us and our teams?
