EQUIPPING SESSION: How can we lead people to become dependent on Jesus rather than reliant on us? When our ministry and motivational focus are out of alignment, it’s easy for leaders to either enable, over-promise, commiserate, or shame those we serve. We end up hurting others by ministering in our own strength rather than by the power of the Gospel. In the process, we exhaust our own spirits. Let’s examine the unbalances in our lives and ministries and see how the Gospel of Jesus can transform our weaknesses into strengths.
